Favorite Quote: ”The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place and I don’t care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.  That’s how winning is done!”            -Rocky Balboa

I spent my life in school because the real world doesn’t seem to affect what happens inside the ivory towers. Once I stepped outside though….. WHAM! The real world hit me. With a PhD in nutrition, I was armed with the knowledge to, well, ….eat!  Having done research in Tibet, India, and Papua New Guinea, I found that eating like a monkey (the Paleo Diet) improved body composition, energy levels, and overall health. Deciding to MOVE like a monkey completed my transformation. I’ve worked tirelessly on my facial expressions and can now move each eyebrow independently to emulate a Spock-like look of amusement. I laugh all the time, except when things aren’t that funny. With years of Tae Kwon Do and Capoeira behind me, parkour was a natural step in evolution. The best thing I love about parkour? The fear. And conquering it. This monkey is addicted.

Favorite Quote: “Nothing great was ever achieved by following the path of least resistance”

I like adventures and I spend most of my time getting in and out of them. I tend to draw attention, make people smile or laugh and I don’t feel uncomfortable being the first to do something. I have a passion for learning and I love to share my experiences with people. I have a somewhat exaggerated sense of curiosity and I always end up leading my friends somewhere new or somewhere we shouldn’t be. I read a lot of books, I practice Parkour at least 3 times a week and I love meeting new people and getting to know them. I know a lot about many subjects but I’m only an expert in a few. I tend to do things instead of dreaming about them, I’m passionate about film making, education, health and fitness and entrepreneurship.
